Affordable tutoring taught by Stuyvesant High School students

We are a group of Stuyvesant High School students looking to provide high-quality and affordable tutoring for the SHSAT and New York State Regents math exams. Our tutors have achieved top scores on these exams and know the best way for your child to prepare for success. SHSAT tutoring (group lessons) starts at $40/month and Regents tutoring (one on one) starts at $80/month. We provide financial aid (partial and full) if needed.

Sign up for tutoring, LIMITED SLOTS AVAILABLE. Lessons start on February 21th, and will be held on Saturdays and Sundays from 9am-10am.

What will SHSAT tutoring look like?

Group lessons - Hour-long sessions twice per week, guided instruction on practice problems, review on previous units, and explanation of new topics. ELA lessons are on Saturday and math lessons are on Sunday from 9am-10am.
Open hours (weekdays) - One on one flexible time to ask questions, review homework, or get extra help through email or text from tutors
Homework - Practice problems to build on the topic-specific skills learned in the lessons
Practice tests - given every 5 weeks to track progression

*All sessions will be held online over Zoom.

1-hour long one-on-one tutoring sessions weekly
Algebra 1, Geometry, Algebra 2/Trigonometry tutoring offered
$80/month, financial aid available

What happens if my child misses a lesson? - We record sessions and post materials and homework on Google Classroom so that students can review or learn topics
How do I sign up? - Fill out the form linked above and we will contact you with information regarding meeting links, payment, and the Google Classroom code.
How many months does the program last? - Roughly 10 months; tutoring lasts from February to November
